Attucks School was inaugurated in 1923 at the intersection of Hanley Road and Bonhomme Avenue in Clayton, Missouri. It was the city's second school dedicated to African American students, following the original Forsyth School. The institution provided education from kindergarten through eighth grade. In the 1950s, as part of urban renewal initiatives, the school was closed, and the building was demolished. To honor its historical significance, a marker has been placed at the original location, serving as a testament to the community's educational heritage.
